We will start with the star of the show. b's progess!

Your baby's about 15.7 inches long now, and she weighs almost 3 pounds (like a head of cabbage). A pint and a half of amniotic fluid surrounds her, but that volume will decrease as she gets bigger and takes up more room in your uterus. Her eyesight continues to develop, though it's not very keen; even after she's born, she'll keep her eyes closed for a good part of the day. When she does open them, she'll respond to changes in light but will have 20/400 vision — which means she can only make out objects a few inches from her face. (Normal adult vision is 20/20)

She's getting so big!
So this weekend I was thinking about it and realized..I have been pregnant this whole year! That's pretty crazy to think about because it seems like its gone by so fast. 2 months to go and really that's no time at all in the scheme of things. We are so excited that she will be with us soon.
Last Friday we registered at Target and Babies R Us. Wow was that a little overwhelming. We started off thinking "I have no clue" then we just figured eh whatever and just scanned away lol. Whatever isn't bought 2 weeks before my due date they give us a 10% coupon off of what wasn't purchased, so more discounts for us yaaay.
Our Bradley class last week went well. We practiced the relaxation methods and talked with the instructor about any concerns and plans for after the baby comes. We were supposed to bring our birth plan but OOPS, I forgot. I'm bringing it to to nights class and we will go over it. Our last class is tonight and I'm a little sad about it. I have really enjoyed the positive environment talking about child birth and the things to do to make it a positive experience. It's really helped me feel calm and relaxed about the whole progress feeling more informed and I really couldn't imagine going into it without this class. Even reading the books can't quite compare to talking the class and it was really worth the time and money. I feel so lucky to have Jason's support and my mom's experience to get me through the birth just as we have planned. They are going to be so important in the day I give birth. Having people there who love me and help me do what is necessary to stay focused and relaxed is such a huge relief. People always ask if I'm nervous, even if it's 2 months away I don't feel nervous at all, just anxious and excited to have our little princess here.
Our weekend was great. We went up with some friends to Donner lake and hung out on the beach all day, bbq'd and then watched the fireworks. It was such a kick back day, luckily we were able to stay at Matt's cousin's house so we didn't have to drive back home that night.
I kept forgetting my camera and only took a couple pictures but here they are :)
YAY AMERICA LOL

This is a picture of Jason "paddle boarding" I think that's what its called. Its like a surf board that you stand on and paddle on the lake. I was too far away to get a good picture :( Jason said he saw a HELLA big beaver carrying a log!

waiting for the fireworks!!

I loved the reflection of the fireworks on the lake.

I have a doctor appointment Thursday so we get to hear b's heartbeat again yaaaay! After this appointment I start going in every 2 weeks instead of every month and soon I will be going in every week.. crazy crazy stuff. I'm excited because it means we are just that close to b's arrival!
Sunday we leave for Clearlake with Jason's family for a week. So I will not be blogging next Monday or Friday. I will do my best to blog this Friday but I can't promise anything so I guess you will just have to check :) After we get back from Clearlake we are going to be moving my office to home and hopefully get a network set up so I can remote into the office. Even though its been pretty relaxed with me coming in and leaving, it will be nice to not have to worry about it as much and be able to really start reading my books and exercising. I have sooo much to read still but I should be able to finish it all before b comes.
That's it for now.. Have a great week everyone!
