Room, birthday and shopping

I'm going to start this with Olivia's room. We finally got it done (bathroom still in progress lol) I might be putting up one more picture that I painted but we will see..

I have been thinking about lowering the picture and putting her name in cute letters above it.. still not sure though..

We went to Old Navy the other day and these dresses were on clearance ( i loove things on clearance lol) I just had to buy them even though they aren't her size, she will grow into them!
this one is 3 mo, but the little hearts are just so cute!

This one we just had to buy even though it wasn't on sale. I love that it says "i love daddy" the other ones say everyone loves me, mommy loves me, i love daddy all over them lol

We bought her a swing which really helps me get things done around the house. she is so cute in it!

So my birthday ended up pretty great. I woke up and went outside our bedroom to see the house decorated in happy birthday decorations..

I was super surprised, Jason is so sweet!

We went to lunch at Tokyo Fro's and Danielle met us at Outback for dinner. We stopped by his parents after and had Pumpkin pie LOL. I loooove pumpkin pie!

Jason had me take Olivia to the office on thursday and I went to the nail salon and got a much needed manicure and pedicure. I have cute toes again yaaaay!

On saturday we celebrated mine and Jasons moms birthday with his family. We went to Outback (he he he I just love the crab!) and to the horse races. here are some pictures from the night. Olivia's first celebration!

This week has been pretty normal, just taking care of little Olivia. I've been thinking about starting a 365 blog for Olivia...I think it would be cute to look back on.. so maybe I will start it as of today but i have to upload my pictures.. stay tuned :)

Happy Birthday to me..

Today is my 28th birthday.. it's weird cause it doesn't really feel like my birthday. I've been so pre-occupied with Olivia it just doesn't seem as important. Usually Jason and I go on a weekend cruise but obviously we didn't plan that this year since we were expecting olivia around this time. I'm going to dinner with Jason and my sister (and olivia of course) which will be great but it's just weird that now I'm a year older and that much closer to 30. Crazy how fast life goes.

It's funny that I'm on here right as it turned midnight. This is the only time I really have to be on here since Jason takes Olivia at night giving me time to myself, which is great. I've really slacked on the blog so I am sorry :(

We have been working on her room this week. I'm sure you are thinking what could be left for us to do. Really its just small stuff, we finally picked up her bedding for her crib and Jason is finishing up her bathroom. He put up the border and replaced the mirror. I had him remove some tile and now he is patching the wall where it was, so hopefully he will be done this week and I can post pictures!

Olivia is amazing, she has grown 2 inches since she was born and she has started to feed like crazy. I think she is going through a growth spurt. We went shopping for her today and bought her some new clothes. I love buying her clothes, she is my little live doll. She is just soo adorable.

She will be 1 month old tomorrow. I can't believe how fast the time goes. It seems like yesterday that we brought her home. I'm going to have her picture taken every month. It's going to be crazy to see how much she changes through the year.

Hi!! Life with our princess

Life with Olivia has been very different than what I expected. Getting up in the middle of the night has started to wear on me. Jason has been great getting up and changing her before I feed her although I start to feel bad because he has to work in the morning and can't nap in the day like I can. I have been napping when she naps in middle of the day which helps a lot. It's been weird going from the crazy nights at the hospital to this but I'm getting used to it.

I've been trying to figure out how to balance doing house work and Olivia. She is so little and all I want to do it hold her right now. I feel bad putting her down while she sleeps. I feel like I have to hold her the whole time to feel secure. I know it's ridiculous but I can't help it. I just feel bad putting her down to do things around the house, I feel like she knows even though she is sleeping. I'm only able to do this now because Jason has her :)

I'm usually big on pictures but it seems like all I can take picture of is Olivia lol She cracks me up and watching her is a whole event in itself. I spend hours just watching her. Here are some pictures of her, I just love her little dress.

My friend Andrea came by this week to see Olivia, which was great. I haven't seen her since our trip to disneyland in January so it was nice she was able to come and visit and meet our little girl. Jason and I decided to make Olivia's costume for halloween and in honor of Andrea she is going to be Minnie Mouse lol. She is going to be so cute, I can't wait!


My sister came by today and I finally got a picture of her with Olivia. YAY for Auntie Danielle!


I had her picture taken this week, some of them didn't come out as they were supposed to so Lisa the photographer is coming back tomorrow to take some more, I will post them as soon as I get them. :)

My jaw was locked pretty badly last week and it just now has started to relax and it's almost back to normal. I'm so excited and was able to eat a sandwich today woo hoo! I'm hoping in the next couple days it will go completely back to normal.

Its really late now so i'm going to get ready for bed. good night!!
